Ms. Liu's main practice areas is Antitrust & Competition.

Representative Matters

  • Ms. Dongping Liu has been  conducting research in the field of competition law since 2004, focusing on comparative research regarding the EU and US competition laws. She has led and participated in multiple research projects on legislation for the competition authorities in China.

  • Since 2006, Ms. Liu has been providing legal counsel and other legal services to corporate clients from industries such as automobile, finance, pharmaceutical, retail channels, petrochemical, food, internet, water supply, power supply, energy, etc. 

  • Ms. Liu provides risk evaluation and solutions to corporate clients regarding their transaction structure, commercial strategies, business behaviors, and compliance programs; and represents corporate clients in cases regarding merger control filing, investigation under the merger control regime, investigation on monopolist agreement, and abuse of dominant position, as well as civil and administrative lawsuits. Ms. Liu is known for her expertise in developing strategies and solutions, especially when complicated issues are involved.
