Mr. Baosheng Zhang focuses on securities compliance, securities litigation, securities-related crimes and corporate litigation. As one of the trailblazers in securities compliance and securities litigation in China, he has represented clients in nearly 100 securities compliance cases involving information disclosure violations, insider trading, market manipulation and others, among which are some of China’s first-of-its-kind mandates, most notably, the first securities administrative settlement case, the first case of punishment for illegal over-the-counter fund placement, the first ETF market manipulation cases, the first case of market manipulation by a market maker on the NEEQ. Such cases include China’s first model judgment for securities disputes, first representative lawsuit over bond misrepresentation, first case of false statement on the SSE STAR Market, etc., with many of them selected among China’s top ten influential lawsuits and the top ten commercial cases of the people’s courts.
