Upon the approval of China Securities Regulatory Commission, the first contract open-ended fund of BOC International Investment Managers – BOC International China Opportunities Fund was offered nationwide from November 18, 2004 until December 28, 2004 and obtained the written confirmation with respect to the validity of fund contract of China Securities Regulatory Commission on January 4, 2005. BOD International Investment Managers is an investment manager jointly incorporated by BOC International (China) Limited, BOD International Holdings Limited and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. BOC International China Opportunities Fund is the first Listed Open-ended Funds (LOF, a public listed fund in Shenzhen Stock Exchange) managed by Chinese-foreign joint venture investment manager. Mr. Anthony Zhao, Mr. Zhang Jian and Mr. Zhang Xinlu of Shanghai branch of Zhonglun acted as its attorney and provided the legal service for the whole process of the offer of the fund.
