Zhong Lun, Japan’s Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu Ink Strategic Alliance Agreement
Recently, Zhong Lun Law Firm has reached an agreement to enter into a cooperative alliance with the leading Japanese law firm Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu as of December, 2010, focusing on providing legal services in China and Japan.
Zhong Lun and Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu have developed mutual trust over the years through jointly providing legal services to their mutual clients and personnel exchanges. Zhong Lun’s Tokyo office is located in Kioicho Building, the same building where Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu is located, and a current partner of Zhong Lun’s Tokyo office had worked at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu for more than four years.
Both law firms have been exploring possible ways to further enhance their capacity to provide a higher level of legal services to their clients, and have hereby reached an agreement to cooperate with each other to provide the highest quality of legal services through the continuous exchange of personnel and the regular exchange of information pertaining to China and Japan.
Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu has offices in Tokyo and New York and is the foremost provider of international and commercial legal services with approximately 350 lawyers (including foreign-licensed lawyers).
Zhong Lun, with approximately 500 lawyers, has offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Wuhan and Chengdu, as well as in Hong Kong and Tokyo. Through this network of offices, Zhong Lun has provided legal services to Chinese companies in various commercial areas and has also advised many Japanese companies in connection with investments and transactions in China.
