Zhong Lun Partner CEN Zhaoqi Invited to Attend the China Global Competition Forum and Gave Keynote Speech
Mr. CEN Zhaoqi, partner of Zhong Lun’s Beijing office, was invited to attend the China Global Competition Forum 2015 held by Wolters Kluwer Hong Kong in Beijing on July 9th, 2015, and gave keynote speech in respect of Antitrust Regulation on Cartels in China and Asia. More than 100 participants, including senior legal counsels from Fortune 500 companies such as Shell, Sinopec, Bayer, Microsoft, Dow, ThyssenKrupp, Daimler, etc., and professionals from well-known international and domestic law firms such as Baker & McKenzie, Shearman & Sterling, King & Wood Mallesons, T&D, etc., attended the forum.
The forum covered topics from recent developments in global competition law, focus of antitrust investigations and enforcement in China and Asia, hot issues in horizontal and vertical monopoly agreements to company compliance. Mr. Cen was invited to give keynote speech on issues related to cartels, including the categories and characteristics of hard-core cartels, regulation and crack-down on cartels in China and Asia, legal liabilities of cartels, leniency policies for cartels, and compliance advices for international companies, etc.
