Zhong Lun Makes Donations to Help Quake and Drought Victims

A series of strong earthquakes struck China’s western Qinghai province on April 14, 2010, killing at least 600 people, injuring thousands and burying many others under toppled houses in a mountainous rural area.
At the news, Zhong Lun Law Firm acted quickly and drew RMB50,000 from its charity fund set up early this year to help the people in the quake-hit areas. Meanwhile, RMB100,000 has been donated and remitted to help the people suffering from drought in Southwest China.
Zhong Lun launched a charity fund in March comprising donations from the law firm’s lawyers and other professional staff.
