Zhong Lun Partner Zhou Yun has officially been reappointed to serve as an Officer on the IBA Corporate and M&A Law Committee
The International Bar Association (IBA), a lawyer’s association known for far-reaching influence on the international legal industry has recently officially reappointed Mr. Zhou Yun to serve as an officer on the IBA Corporate and M&A Law Committee for the 2019-2020 term in recognition of his leadership position in the M&A field. He is the first and only officer from China in the committee’s history. Since 2015, it is the third time that Mr. Zhou has been appointed as an officer, specifically, Academic Liaison Officer in this term, in the committee. Mr. Zhou is continuously voted as a Leading Lawyer in the fields of M&A, especially in cross-border M&A, by Chambers, International Financial Law Review 1000 (IFLR 1000) and other influential legal publishers and has great reputation in the M&A field. Since serving as an Asia Pacific Officer in the first term, Mr. Zhou has represented the international image of Chinese lawyers in this platform of international legal community. He regularly speaks at various international forums held by IBA. This reappointment is IBA’s recognition of Mr. Zhou’s achievement as well as an honor for Chinese lawyers.
