Zhong Lun Advises on SSF’s Investment in Ant Financial

On June 18, 2015, the Ant Financial Group, China’s Internet financial services giant, announced that it had obtained a substantial strategic investment from China’s Social Security Fund (SSF), and SSF also acknowledged that it held a 5% stake in the Ant Financial Group. It is SSF’s first direct investment in the private sector.

Zhong Lun Law Firm acted as the counsel to SSF and provided legal services throughout this transaction. The legal team from Zhong Lun was led by Anthony Zhao and Luke Zhang, and included Renjie Xu, Raphael Liu, Jane Chen and Roy Zheng.
