In August, 2016, Equistone acquired a majority stake in United Initiators from Vision Capital and Speyside Equity for an undisclosed sum. The completion of the transaction is subject to anti-trust clearance by competition authorities in relevant jurisdictions. Equistone Partners Europe Limited is one of Europe’s leading mid-market private equity investors, owned and managed by the former executives of Barclays Private Equity. United Initiators is a world-leading peroxide producer, fully focused on the manufacturing, development and worldwide distribution of peroxides, persulfate and adjacent chemicals and products, with its headquarters located in Munich, Germany. The company boasts a history of over 100 years and it currently operates seven production facilities across Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region.
Zhong Lun Law Firm has acted as the Chinese legal counsel for Equistone and has offered legal services for Equistone to execute relevant transaction documents.
