Zhong Lun Assists Bluesea Mobile in Successfully Selling Data Center Assets Worth over RMB 1.5 Billion to Keppel DC REIT
Keppel DC REIT, the largest data center REIT in Asia, announced its acquisition of two fully-fitted data center facilities from Guangdong Bluesea Data Development Co., Ltd. (“Bluesea Data"), a new addition to its cooperation portfolio with Bluesea Data. These two internet data centers are located in Jiangmen, Guangdong Province, within the Greater Bay Area, commanding a floor area of approximately 40,000 square meters. Both data centers conform with the Code for Design of Data Center Grade A GB. The two parties executed a series of agreements on June 20, 2022, with a total transaction amount of over RMB 1.5 billion.
After advising Bluesea Data on the sale of a data center building to Keppel DC REIT in 2021, Zhong Lun again served as the legal counsel for the seller and provided full legal services throughout this transaction, including design of the transaction structure, drafting and revision of various transaction documents, negotiations during the entire process of the transaction, etc. Our professional and meticulous services were highly recognized by the client and the counterparty.
