Kaichen XU

Kaichen (“KC”) Xu is a partner with Zhong Lun Law Firm, bringing a unique combination of experience to the table. Before joining Zhong Lun, he was previously a partner at DLA Piper and Bird & Bird, both of which are large international law firms. In addition to his tenures as law firm partner, he was managing director and general counsel of a large private equity firm, where he oversaw its formation, fundraising and control investment project. He was also responsible for establishing and managing the legal department of that firm’s control portfolio company, supporting its fast growth through efficient legal and compliance system.

Since 2006, KC has worked on hundreds of VC/PE investments, representing both prominent investment funds and emerging companies. An expert in this field, he has earned high praise from clients for his efficiency and commercially informed approaches.
