Zhong Lun formed a dedicated task force to provide end-to-end legal support for the European rights acquisition, including risk assessment, transaction document review, and commercial negotiations. The project was led by partners Lefan Gong and Haijun Zhang. The team also included non-equity partner Chengcheng Hu, and associate Zhe Du, among others.
Trinity CineAsia is dedicated to showcasing outstanding Asian cinema in the UK and beyond. It aims to release top Chinese and Asian films in cinemas simultaneously with their domestic release, as well as on home entertainment and on-demand platforms.
Trinity CineAsia represents one of the largest catalogues of Asian films in Europe, including the Ip Man Franchise and many films featuring key Asian film luminaries such as Jackie Chan, Donnie Yen, and Yun-Fat Chow. In recent years, Trinity has achieved significant success in distributing Chinese films in Europe, with titles such as The Wandering Earth 2, Creation of the Gods, The Last Dance, Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In, and the Detective Chinatown Franchise.
