Represented Great Wall Gas, a subsidiary of Sinopec Corp., on its CNY 539 million strategic acquisition of 29.99% equity interest in Binhai Investment Company Limited, a Hong Kong-listed company
Advised Sinopec Corp. on the Hong Kong aspects of its USD 3.1 billion (HKD 23.97 billion) private placement of new H-shares, traded on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, with the mandate representing Sinopec Corp.’s first large-scale stock offering since its H-shares IPO in 2000
Represented SSC in its backdoor listing in A+H market via Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fibre, which was one of the most high-profile capital market transaction in 2014
Represented MIE in its CAD 772 million acquisition of CQ Energy Canada, which represents a very substantial acquisition for MIE under the Hong Kong Listing Rules
Represented China International Capital Corporation Hong Kong Securities Limited, which acted as financial adviser, in a series of transactions in connection with the restructuring of the China Shipping Group and the COSCO Group, which constitute a very substantial acquisition and continuing connected transactions for China Shipping Container Lines Company Limited and involved acquisition target assets amounting to CNY 2.7 billion
Represented Shenhua Group Company Limited in its USD 271 billion merger with China Guodian Group, resulting in China Energy Investment Company Limited, the fourth largest state-owned enterprise in the energy sector and the world’s largest coal, thermal, wind, and coal chemical company, and also advised on the formation of a joint venture between China Shenhua (a listed subsidiary of the Shenhua Group) and Guangdong Power Development Company Limited (a listed subsidiary of the China Guodian Group) under Hong Kong law, as part of the merger deal
Represented Sinopec Corp., Sinopec Tianranqi Company, Sinopec Marketing Company Limited, and Sinomart KTS Development Limited in their CNY 122.655 billion sale of oil and gas pipeline network assets to China Oil&Gas Pipeline Network Corporation, which was the most high-profile capital market transaction in 2020
