Zhong Lun Engages in IBA Annual Conference Toronto 2025 and Hosts Networking Event
From November 3 to 7, 2025 (local time), the International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference was held in Toronto, drawing more than 5,000 legal professionals from around the world. As an IBA group member, Zhong Lun Law Firm participated with a delegation of 18 partners led by Managing Partner Anthony Zhao.
As one of the most influential organizations in the global legal community, the IBA brings together leading practitioners across jurisdictions and has become an important platform for fostering professional trust and cross-border collaboration. During this year’s conference, Zhong Lun lawyers actively contributed to discussions on artificial intelligence, compliance, intellectual property, international arbitration, and ESG, sharing practical insights and showcasing the firm’s extensive experience in these fields. Through these exchanges, the firm deepened understanding, built consensus, and strengthened its ties with the global legal community.
On November 5, Zhong Lun hosted a breakfast reception at The St. Regis Toronto, which was attended by more than 400 lawyers from nearly 50 countries and regions. The lively event encouraged multidimensional dialogue and closer professional engagement between Chinese and international legal practitioners.
As global trade and investment patterns continue to evolve rapidly, Zhong Lun remains committed to advancing its international strategy. The firm has established broad and in-depth partnerships with hundreds of law firms worldwide, building a diversified and integrated global legal service platform that promotes resource sharing and collective expertise.
Looking ahead, Zhong Lun will continue to expand its global network, offering comprehensive, cross-time-zone, and cross-jurisdictional legal services that cover the entire business value chain. At the same time, the firm will remain actively engaged in international legal exchanges, contributing to the integration of Chinese legal services into the global rule-of-law ecosystem — achieving mutual empowerment and sustainable progress.
