Zhonglian WANG

Ms. Zhonglian Wang has extensive practical experience in intellectual property rights protection (trademark, copyright, and unfair competition), as well as trademark application, litigation, and arbitration. Ms. Wang has handled hundreds of various intellectual property litigation cases, helping clear roadblocks for many overseas brands to enter the Chinese market, while providing intellectual property protection for many domestic and foreign companies. Ms. Wang is also well-versed in non-litigation services such as intellectual property solutions and intellectual property strategic deployment. She has represented clients in business negotiations and intellectual property transactions and provided intellectual property management and construction services for enterprises. In addition, Ms. Wang provides retainer-based legal counselling to many state-owned/central enterprises.

  • Represented Roxtec AB, a famous Swedish seal manufacturer, in a series of trademark infringement cases upon color combinations in China and clinched a complete victory

  • Represented Roxtec AB, a famous Swedish seal manufacturer, in the administrative litigation concerning the rejection of the color combination trademark in China and successfully secured the registration of the client's color combination trademark, with the case selected as one of the "Top Ten Innovative Cases" of Beijing courts in 2017

  • Advised a famous UK author on trademark application and represented the client in trademark administrative litigation to protect the client's IP interests in China

  • Represented the famous US coffee brand BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE in a trademark infringement and unfair competition litigation in China, as well as a trademark confirmation litigation, successfully protecting the interests of the client
