Xiaoxu WU

Xiaoxu WU has multiple backgrounds and she was admitted to the bar and registered as a patent attorney in PRC. Ms Wu is mainly engaged in legal business in the fields of intellectual property, data protection and legal issues about TMT. Ms Wu has extensive experience in IP litigation, portfolio management, and commercial licensing. In addition, Ms Wu has also advised clients on their data compliance and privacy protection.

1. IP transaction and IP related investment
- Provided legal service to ARM, a leading semiconductor IP provider, in IP licensing transaction with its Chinese joint venture
- Provided IP and data legal due diligence for SoftBank Group's C+ and C++ rounds investment in SenseTime
- Provided IP due diligence for Hillhouse Capital 's investment in Miniso
- Provided legal service to Shandong Lutai Group, the largest domestic manufacturer of garment material, on the licensing transaction with foreign parties
- Provided legal service to BOE on its investment in OLED projects


2. IP Litigation and Patent Invalidation

- Represented Nuctech, Tsinghua University in the patent invalidation and patent infringement cases on software and algorithm
- Represented Yulong Computer Communication Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. in a patent infringement case on 3G technology
- Represented Roxtec AB, a well-known multinational company in the field of cable and pipeline sealing, in patent infringement cases
- Represented TEPE, a multinational company in the field of oral health, in a design patent infringement case
- Represented Arjo, a well-known medical device provider, in patent invalidation cases


3. Data Compliance, Privacy Protection and TMT

- Provided legal services to a company in relation to on users’ personal information protection and intellectual property rights related to its separation from its parent company
- Provided legal services to People's Insurance Group of China on customer personal information compliance
- Provided legal services to Minsheng Bank in relation to the compliance of users’ personal information
- Provided legal services to a famous e-commerce platform on data crawlers
- Provided legal services on open sources platform construction for Nanjing Integrated Circuit Design Service Industry Innovation Center Co., Ltd. This project is China's first open sources platform project specifically for EDA software
- Provide legal services for Huawei, TCL, and other companies on open sources compliance, including analyzing the application of open sources licenses, assisting customers in completing closed-source software, and open source involving patent licensing issues, etc.
- Provided legal services on e-signature for Caterpillar, Nvidia, Sinopec, etc.
