Qi Yu

Ms. Yu practiced in the U.S. for many years, served clients including some of the largest and most sophisticated technology companies in China and in the U.S. She has extensive experience in representing clients in matters such as patent applications involving various technologies, patent litigation, transfer and licensing of intellectual property rights, and intellectual property portfolio strategies.

Beyond her practice experience at law firms, Ms. Yu once served as a senior legal counsel at a major U.S. multinational technology company in Shanghai, China, holding qualifications as a Chinese lawyer and a Chinese patent agent.

Prior to her legal career, Ms. Yu accumulated extensive engineering experience at a renowned German multinational technology company known for its wireless mobile communication technologies. This background has endowed her with unique understanding and insight into handling legal matters related to standard essential patents in various wireless mobile communications.
