Singapore and Hong Kong Lawyers Visited Zhong Lun
On 18th April 2008 Ms. Rachel Eng Yaag Ngee, the partner in charge of the Capital Markets & Corporate Department at Wong Partnership LLP of Singapore, visited Zhong Lun Beijing Office, and she was warmly welcomed by Zhang Xuebing and Chen Ming. The guest and the host exchanged information about their respective jurisdiction and legal practices. Wong Partnership LLP, being one of the largest law firms in Singapore with more than 200 professional lawyers, is known as leading law firm in legal market, and highly regarded by international and local clients.
In the afternoon of the same day, Zhang Xuebing, Wupeng and Liu Yulin gave a reception to Elsie Leung, consultant, and Derek Lai, partner, of Iu, Lai and Li, Hong Kong. Both parties exchanged and shared their opinions on the situation in legal service markets in local and Asia-Pacific area. As a well established law firm, Iu, Lai and Li has more than 70 professional lawyers and staff, and provides a comprehensive range of legal services. Consultant Elsie Leung was the Secretary for Justice of HKSAR and is currently the Deputy Director of the Basic Law Committee of The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the Standing Committee of National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China.
