French and US Consuls General Pay Successive Visits to Zhong Lun Wuhan Office
Consuls General of the Consulates General from the US and France in Wuhan paid successive visits to Zhong Lun Law Firm Wuhan office in a bid to deepen understanding and promote cooperation between legal sectors of the countries.
On December 24, 2009, M. Serge Lavroff, Consul General of the French Consulate General Wuhan visited Zhong Lun Law Firm Wuhan office and said the consulate general would support Zhong Lun in its legal services for French citizens in investment, business and international law areas. He also proposed to set up a training and exchange mechanism between the law firm and its counterparts in France.
On January 13, 2010, Diane Sovereign, Consul General of the United States Consulate General Wuhan followed in Lavroff’s footsteps and discussed comprehensive cooperation with the office in areas of investment, trade, M&A financing and bankruptcy acquisitions in her visit to the office.
An partner with the office said that there is stronger demand from a growing number of foreign companies in high-end legal services in the central China city as the country’s opening up deepens and that the visits will provide great opportunities for the law firm to expand into the global legal market.
