Partner Mr. Wilson Huo Appointed to List of Arbitrators of HKIAC and International Panel List of ICDR of AAA
At the beginning of 2011, Zhong Lun Law Firm partner Mr. Wilson Huo was appointed by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) to its List of Arbitrators. Besides, Wilson was also selected to serve on the International Panel List of International Center of Dispute Resolution (ICDR) of American Arbitration Association (AAA).
Wilson has extensive experience in the area of dispute resolution, in particular cross-border arbitration. In the past year, besides representing in cases before the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), Wilson also represented clients in cases arbitrated by the American Arbitration Association (AAA), the Geneva Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), the Dubai International Arbitration Center (DIAC) and other international arbitration institutions.
Established in 1985, the HKIAC is one of the premier international arbitration institutions in Asia. It plays an irreplaceable role in resolving disputes in relation to the China mainland, Southeast Asia and other regions. Headquartered in New York City of the U.S.A., the ICDR of AAA has branches in Dublin, Mexico City and Singapore. Statics indicate that in 2008 the ICDR accepted 703 cross-border cases which were the most among global arbitration bodies. It has an outstanding impact over disputes related to American enterprises.
