Zhong Lun Partner Wilson Huo was Invited as a Guest Speaker in the Ninth International Commercial Law Forum
On December 18, 2014, Zhong Lun partner Mr. Wilson Huo attended the Ninth International Commercial Law Forum, which was jointly held by the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), the Singapore Law Council, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Hebei Council (CCPIT Hebei Council) and etc. The theme of the forum was on risk control and dispute resolution in international trade and investment. Invited by the sponsors, Mr. Huo gave the speech on dispute resolution in the foreign-related investment and trade from the perspective of risk management. Starting from case studies, Mr. Huo shared his views with the attendees on the core issues, such as sources of the risks during foreign-related transactions and transfer of L/C, the relation between transfer of bank instruments and the underlying transaction, as well as the strategy of managing commercial risks and disputes for the companies involving in foreign-related investment and trade. The speech has received a warm welcome from the attendees that consist of more than 300 senior management from foreign-related economic and trade companies and legal professionals.
