On February 26, 2015, the “Ninth Annual Investment Treaty Arbitration Conference" was held by Juris Conferences in Washington D.C. Zhong Lun partner Mr. Wantao Yang participated in the panel discussion on the topics including the definitional dilemma of “investor" in investment treaty; the impact and development of the Chorzów’s classic dictum on the damages analyses for expropriation claims; the distinction between lawful and unlawful expropriation; and the burdens and standards of proof for allegation of corruption in an investment claim.
