Zhonglun REN Qing delivered a speech on the draft PRC Foreign Investment Law at the British Chamber of Commerce in China
On 19th March, Zhong Lun Law Firm Non-equity partner REN Qing was invited to deliver a speech on the draft PRC Foreign Investment Law at the British Chamber of Commerce in China.
Having introduced the legislative background of the draft law, Mr. Ren outlined the main contents of the draft law, including the concept of “foreign investment" and “control", the “negative list" administrative mode, access licensing system and information reporting system. Mr. Ren also analyzed the practical implication for future and existing foreign investment in China.
Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) of China published the draft Foreign Investment Law for soliciting public comments in this January. Zhong Lun actively participated in the drafting process of this law and has provided a number of comments and suggestions to MOFCOM.
