Zhong Lun Partner CEN Zhaoqi Invited by Sinopec to Give Lecture on Antitrust Regulation on Exercising of Intellectual Property Rights
Mr. CEN Zhaoqi, partner of Zhong Lun’s Beijing office, was invited to give a lecture with the topic of “Antitrust Regulation on Exercising of Intellectual Property Rights and Internal Compliance of Energy Enterprises" to China Petrochemical Corporation (also known as the Sinopec Group) on May 15th, 2015. Senior managements from Legal department, Science & Technology department, Research department and other related subsidiary corporations of Sinopec Group attended the lecture. Combining with the Provisions on Prohibiting the Abuse of Intellectual Property Rights to Exclude and Restrain Competition published recently by State Administration for Industry and Commerce and relevant cases from different jurisdictions such as EU and US, Mr. Cen analyzed the key issues related to antitrust and abuse of intellectual property rights in the field of energy, as well as relevant legislation and enforcement practice, and put forward advices on internal compliance for Sinopec. The lecture lasted for two hours and received the consistent high praise from the participants.
