Partner Sun Wei Elected as ICC YAF’s China Representative
The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Young Arbitrators Forum (YAF) announced in April 2017 its new regional representatives, representing 40 countries all over the world. Zhong Lun Partner Sun Wei was elected as the representative for China Region, North Asia Chapter.
The new representatives will have three-year mandate from 2017 to 2019. They are responsible for organizing first rate arbitration conferences and seminars in their respective regions. Through such activities, they are expected to advance communication among the arbitration community and to promote international arbitration. For this purpose, when choosing regional representatives, the ICC YAF weighs not only candidates’ professional expertise but also their connections with the international arbitration community and their experiences in organizing major international events.
ICC is the world’s leading arbitral institution and the ICC YAF is the largest young arbitration practitioners’ association of its kind with over 10,000 members worldwide.
