Shared Perspectives, Shared Purpose | Zhong Lun Attends the IBA Annual Conference 2026 in Copenhagen and Hosts Networking Breakfast
From October 4 to 9, 2026, the International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference, a premier event in the global legal calendar, was held in Copenhagen, Denmark, drawing over 5,000 registered legal professionals worldwide. As an IBA member firm, Zhong Lun sent a delegation of 21 partners led by Anthony Zhao, Chairman of the firm’s Management Committee.
Throughout the conference, Zhong Lun’s lawyers combined grounded Chinese legal practice with a global outlook, actively participating in panel discussions on artificial intelligence, e-commerce, cross-border transactions, employment, and technology taxation. Through these professional dialogues, the team engaged in mutual learning and exchange with peers from around the globe.
On October 6, Zhong Lun hosted a networking breakfast at 1 Hotel Copenhagen, bringing together more than 400 legal professionals from over 50 countries and regions. This event provided an effective channel for face-to-face communication, further deepening the connections between Chinese lawyers and the global legal community.
As the international commercial landscape rapidly evolves, cross-border business continues to present novel legal questions. Long dedicated to international legal services, Zhong Lun has built an integrated business framework powered by its domestic cross-border teams, overseas offices, international lawyer networks, and cooperative overseas law firms, thereby cementing its comprehensive cross-border service capabilities. Looking to the future, Zhong Lun will continue to expand its global service network, coordinate practical resources across jurisdictions and time zones, and precisely address clients' diverse cross-border needs. By actively participating in international legal exchanges and industry gatherings, the firm aims to share insights from Chinese legal practice, foster two-way empowerment with international colleagues, and drive long-term mutual success.
