Zhong Lun Partner Henry JI Invited to Speak at 2026 Horasis Asia Meeting
From July 8 to 10, 2026, Zhong Lun partner Henry JI was invited to attend and deliver the speech at 2026 Horasis Asia Meeting, held in Macau/Hengqin.
Speaking on the roundtable panel "Asia 2076: Eastern Wisdom, New Productive Forces", Henry JI emphasized the critical role of Asian innovation in driving global economic growth. He stressed that Asia and the world should forge stronger connections and commit to build a clearer, more standardized legal infrastructure with universal relevance, so as to better address and resolve the challenges posed by diverse business innovations and intergenerational wealth transfers. He also suggested drawing on the mature experiences of different Asian countries and regions to appropriately introduce "Sandbox Mechanisms" in areas such as AI and technological innovation, thereby enhancing testability, coordination, and replicability across different jurisdictions and cultures.
The annual meeting brought together representatives from political, business, and academic circles across Asia and the world, facilitating in-depth exchanges on topics including Asia's economic outlook, technological innovation, sustainable development, regional cooperation, rule of law, artificial intelligence, and Asia's future vision. As one of the few legal professionals invited from the region, Henry JI received wide recognition from participants for his active role in promoting regional cooperation and empowering business through professional expertise.
