Recently, the offshore syndicate arranged by United Overseas Bank Limited successfully provided an acquisition loan to the offshore investment entity (as borrower) under LaSalle Investment Management for its acquisition of Shanghai International Capital Plaza by way of share purchase. At the same time, United Overseas Bank (China) Limited, Shanghai Branch as the onshore lender successfully provided refinancing for the onshore project company that holds the ownership of Shanghai International Capital Plaza. This onshore-offshore linked real estate acquisition loan project involves an aggregate amount of several billion RMB.
