• Conducted investigations into the past developments of all the land (including collective land, allocated land, leased land, sold land, forest land, grassland, beach land, etc.) owned by Shanxi Qinnew Energy Group Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries, and provided legal services, in particular plans and opinions, regarding legality of obtaining the land use, future land use under the new land management law, and rectification of defect in land use

• Provided legal opinions on the rural collective land use issues for a photovoltaic project in Jilin

• Provided legal services, in particular plans and opinions, for the issue of occupying collective land involved in a thermal power charging and revenue rights backed asset scheme of Shuifa Group Co., Ltd.

• Provided solutions for the collective land occupation issues of ski runs of the Chengde Ski Resort PPP project

• Prepared research and proposals on whether foreign-invested enterprises can apply for land use renewal after the expiration of allocated land, and conducted research on issues related to making the collectively operated construction land available in the market

• Advised China National Gold Group Corporation on its acquisition of a gold mine project in Laizhou (300 tons)

• Advised Shandong Gold Group Co., Ltd. on its absorption of a Hong Kong-listed gold mine in Xinjiang

• Advised China Merchants Bank Shanxi Branch on restructuring a debt of CNY 6.7 billion for Meijin Coking Coal Group

• Advised on the CNY 10 billion debt restructuring of Taixi Coal Group by Bank of China Inner Mongolia Branch and other debt committees

• Advised on the CNY 20 billion debt restructuring of Baogang Group, rare earth, and iron ore by Bank of China Inner Mongolia Branch and other debt committees 

• Advised Bank of China Bayannaoer Branch on the bankruptcy and reorganization project of Jianxin Group

• Advised Jingneng Group on its Xilin coal-to-liquids 2*5.5 million tons brown coal upgrading, pyrolysis and grading comprehensive utilization and disposal project

• Advised Huainan  Mining Industry Co., Ltd. on the auditing and rectification of a special large-scale coal mine in Shaanxi for acquisition

• Advised Inner Mongolia Energy Group on the Haizita equity restructuring and equity transfer project

Mining Dispute Resolution

• Handled over 200 administrative litigation cases, including over 20 mining disputes, on behalf of the Ministry of Land and Resources

• Represented Shandong Huayuan Venture Capital in a dispute with Anhui Xulou Iron Mine, a listed company of Shandong Geological and Mineral Corporation, over a gambling contract

• Represented Lianmei Group in a case of recovering state-owned assets amounting to CNY 2.3 billion from Ordos Guotou related to coal equity transfer

• Handled a joint venture dispute case for a certain iron mine between Shandong Exploration and Design Institute and other parties

• Advised on the arbitration of an overburden dispute for a certain iron mine of PetroChina Pipeline Branch

• Represented Zhejiang Richangsheng Group in a dispute over the transfer of mining rights for a limestone mine in Shaanxi

• Handled a case of late payment penalty for Tangshan Kailuan Coal Mine Company

• Handled a joint venture cooperation dispute over a mining right between Hubei Yingyan Mining and Hebei Sanning Chemical Group

• Represented Zhongjin Resources in the arbitration of a dispute over the transfer of prospecting rights
