Shiduo David Xu has extensive experience in equity investment, corporate finance, and M&A, with profound expertise in cross-border transactions. His clientele includes various investment funds and start-ups from a wide array of sectors. The wide range of professional credentials has equipped him with an in-depth understanding of equity structuring, corporate governance, design of equity incentives, etc., on top of which, Mr. Xu handled various disputes relating to cross-border M&A, investment, and financing for clients. Mergers and Acquisitions

  • Represented a world leading Japanese pharmaceutical company in its acquisition of an entity with the pharmaceutical license, assisted in the establishment of an investment company as a regional headquarters, and participated in organizational restructuring

  • Represented a world leading multinational pharmaceutical company in its absorption, merger, restructuring, and its business model change in China

  • Represented a world-leading American instrument and pharmaceutical biotechnology company in the establishment of a biopharmaceutical CDMO joint venture in China and assisted in legal matters related to the construction and leasing of the plant of the joint venture

  • Represented Dolphin Browser's parent company and Sohu Changyou in its restructuring of ordinary shares and preferred shares, acquisitions, and a convertible bond issuance
