Xiaoqin ZHANG
Ms.Zhang Xiaoqin has been practising since 2000 and has extensive experience in dispute resolution, commercial crime and criminal compliance and M&A and corporate governance. The main industries served include real estate, urban infrastructure, banking and finance, and mineral resources, etc. Ms.Zhang has provided permanent consultancy and specialised services for the following companies: Dongfang Electric Corporation, Sichuan Development Holding Co.,Ltd, The Bank of East Asia (China) Limited, Henan Construction Group, Sichuan Liquor Group, and Southwest China Architecture Survey and Design Research Institute Company Limited. Ms.Zhang specialises in financing trade disputes of state-owned enterprises and central enterprises, contract disputes of banks and financial institutions, and is particularly experienced in dealing with major and complex criminal-civilian cross-cutting cases. During her practice, she has handled many commercial crime cases, including but not limited to helping her clients to successfully obtain bail and wait for trial or not to file a criminal case and the procuratorate's decision not to approve the arrest, and so on.

Representing a well-known asset management company based in Shanghai in an arbitration case of financial consultancy agreement with a Chongqing real estate company and a Chongqing Group Company Limited, which was decided in favour of the real estate company despite the fact that its financial controller was sentenced to imprisonment;
On behalf of a well-known state-owned enterprise in Sichuan Province, a group of international trade companies to deal with cross-border international trade litigation cases, the actual controller of the counterparty is suspected of fraud fleeing abroad by the red passes, after years of ultimately for the client to recover losses;
In the field of typical price adjustment disputes in construction projects, representing a road and bridge (group) company, a mechanised construction engineering company to handle a series of construction project construction contract dispute arbitration cases with a civil aviation airport construction group limited liability company to handle a series of construction project construction contract dispute arbitration cases with a certain airport construction command in Chengdu.
Investment/M&A & Corporate Governance
Acting as a defender for Huang, who is suspected of illegal business operation, and obtaining bail pending trial for him;
Acting as a defender for a party suspected of fraud (a project contractor of a state-owned enterprise), who was acquitted in the second trial;
Secured one exemption from prosecution and three suspended sentences for four parties suspected of bid-rigging;
Obtaining a decision of exemption from prosecution for the case in which the real controller of a private property development enterprise was accused of being the leading member of a vicious group due to a dispute with a builder over the payment for the project, etc.

Providing full legal services for China Dongfang Electric Group Co., Ltd. and China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation in relation to the gratuitous transfer of equity interests in Honghua Group (Hong Kong stock 00196.HK);
Providing legal services for due diligence investigation, introduction of war investors and property rights transaction for the M&A projects in various fields of large central state-owned enterprises, such as Dongfang Boiler Company Limited of the Dongfang Electric Group, a number of subsidiaries of Dongfeng Motor, and a number of subsidiaries of Sichuan Wine Industry Group Company Limited.
