Yufeng ZHAO

Mr. Yufeng Zhao specializes in cross-border investment and M&A, construction and project development, and financing. He has assisted a lot of state-owned enterprises, and domestically listed companies in completing multiple large-scale cross-border mining acquisition projects, with the cumulative transaction amount exceeding 5 billion US dollars. Among them, the acquisition of the cesium mine from Cabot Corporation in the United States by Sinomine Resource, which is a project led by Mr. Zhao, was honored with the "Belt and Road Compliance Excellence" Award at the second "Belt and Road · Compliance Road" hosted by "Legal Daily" and the Outstanding Transaction Award in 2019 by "Business Law."

In addition, Mr. Zhao excels in cross-border projects relating to project development, greenfield investment, and constuction in the energy and infrastructure sectors, especially in clean energy projects such as wind power, solar power, hydropower, waste incineration power generation, as well as infrastructure projects such as ports and highways. He has led transactions involving countries in Africa, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, and Latin America, assisting clients in assessing project risks and facilitating transactions.
