On June 23, 2025, Asian Legal Business (ALB) released the "2025 ALB China Top 15 Rising Lawyers" list, and Zhong Lun partner Patrick Yuan was honored with a place.
Mr. Yuan’s primary practice areas include cross-border investment and financing, equity investment, mergers and acquisitions, major civil and commercial litigation, and international arbitration. He specializes in providing comprehensive legal solutions for domestic and foreign investments, covering cross-border investment and financing, mergers and reorganizations, joint ventures and cooperation, technology import, and antitrust matters. Mr. Yuan has represented numerous domestic and foreign financial institutions and multinational corporations in their investments and operations in China and advised several large Chinese enterprises on their overseas investment projects under the Belt and Road Initiative, playing a vital role in facilitating communication and coordination between the clients, government agencies, and stakeholders. In cross-border commercial dispute resolution, he boasts extensive experience, having represented Chinese and foreign clients in international arbitration cases before institutions such as the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Court of Arbitration, as well as in parallel litigations in Hong Kong, Singapore, and London.
