Our partner Yao Jun from the Guangzhou Office attended a cocktail reception celebrating the opening of Wragge & Co LLP's Guangzhou Office on January 8, 2009. This is the first office established in Guangzhou by a UK law firm.
After the reception, upon invitation from Yao Jun, Wragge & Co’s senior partner Chris Hughes, managing partner for the Far East business Gordon Harris and managing partner for Hong Kong office James Ng visited Zhong Lun's Guangzhou Office and Shenzhen Office on January 9 and 16, 2009 respectively.
With more than 1,100 employees including 643 fee earners, Wragge & Co is recognized as one of the oldest and largest law firms in the UK. Wragge & Co was the only law firm to feature in the Financial Times 50 Best Workplaces in the UK, while in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For it was placed at 39. It was also Legal Business magazine's Most Enterprising Law Firm of the Year 2006.
