On June 23, 2010, Yao Jun, a lawyer with Zhong Lun Law Firm Guangzhou office, made a speech on innovation and intellectual property (IP) matters at the US-Shenzhen Innovation and IP Forum in Shenzhen, Guangdong province.
Mr. Yao was the only PRC lawyer invited as a speaker at the forum. His speech attracted much attention and praise from the audience. Other speakers at the forum included US Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman, Deputy Director of United States Patent and Trademark Office Sharon Barner, presidents, legal department heads and IP department heads of some well-known enterprises, such as Huawei, BYD and Mindray.
