Zhong Lun Law Firm partner Lu Hongda has been recently recruited as a member of the 13th Mainboard Public Offering Review Committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), becoming the second lawyer in the law firm to get such a post in the national securities watchdog.
The committee, composed of 18 full-time members and 7 part-time members, examines and verifies the issuers’ applications for shares issuance, the first examination reports of relevant functional departments of the CSRC, relevant materials and opinions from the underwriters, accounting firms, law firms, asset appraisal institutions and related securities services in respect of the share issuance.
