Mr. Chen Jihong and Mr. Shi Bisheng Attended 2018 Berkeley-Tsinghua Annual Forum
The 2018 Berkeley-Tsinghua Annual Forum was held in the Faculty of Law, Tsinghua University on December 4, 2018. Themed on “Transnational IP Litigation: Opportunities and Challenges—Focus on US IP Litigation", this Forum invited government officials, judges, scholars, attorneys and in-house counsels from China and the United States to discuss the hotspot issues in intellectual property litigation. Mr. Chen Jihong and Mr. Shi Bisheng, Partners of Zhong Lun Law Firm, attended the Forum at invitation.
Mr. Chen Jihong moderated the session of “Outside Counsel’s Perspective on Transnational IP Litigation", and discussed evidence discovery, evidence collection, administrative procedures and other issues with guest speakers.
Mr. Shi Bisheng attended the session of “Risk Mitigation, Licensing and Partnership Strategies", and made a presentation on “How to Avoid Technical Contract Disputes in China—from a Litigation Perspective". In the presentation, Mr. Shi introduced the features of technical contract decisions by Chinese courts and provided insightful advice to enterprises.
