Zhong Lun Offers Humanitarian Assistance to Hospitals and Communities in the U.S.
As the COVID-19 epidemic in the United States worsens and the number of confirmed cases keeps on increasing dramatically, a large number of U.S.-based hospital personnel are facing a severe shortage of personal protective equipment such as masks and protective clothing. In the spirit of humanitarianism, Zhong Lun’s U.S. offices took the initiative to contact Chinese mask manufacturers and purchased medical masks in batches to donate to hospitals and other institutions in four locations of two states in the U.S.
From April 4 to 20, 2020, Zhong Lun’s U.S. offices donated more than 10,000 medical masks to NYU Langone Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara in California, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Garfield Medical Center in Los Angeles, Rady Children's Hospital Foundation in San Diego, and Trader Joe's Supermarket, UPS and other entities in Palo Alto. These masks will be distributed to the medical staff of the hospitals and to the staff of the entities.
