Ling XIAO
Ling Xiao is the Partner of both New York and Los Angeles offices. Her practice is primarily devoted to general corporate, real estate, finance, mergers & acquisitions, and the counseling of foreign companies investing in the US.
Representative Matters
With over a decade of experience in representing multi-national companies operating across diverse industries, in technology, medical research, finance, the entertainment industry, mineral resources, real estate developments, and international trading transactions, Ling Xiao is considered an expert on issues and challenges which foreign companies and cross-border business encounter in the US. She handles mergers and acquisitions matters for entrepreneurs, start-up companies, and private equity investors, both domestically and internationally. She acts as general counsel to a number of foreign and international companies in the areas of onshore/offshore corporate structures & investments, family offices and equity structures, business and technology strategic transactions, as well as corporate governance and operations.
Having actively engaged in the practice of law across many different industries in the United States and through representations of many international companies from Mainland China, Ling is fluent in the various laws, commercial practices, and cultures of both China and the U.S. This allows her to approach complex cross-border business issues, real estate acquisition, or M&A transactions with unique perspectives.
