On December 13, 2022, Practising Law Institute (PLI) successfully hosted a half day program titled “Doing Business in and With China 2022" in New York. Zhong lun partner Ping Gu is invited to participate as speaker for the session “China: Dispute Resolution & IP Protection" and answered relevant questions.
Founded in 1933, PLI is a nonprofit organization which has a significant impact on legal professionals. PLI is dedicated to providing the highest-level continuing legal and professional education programs for more than 400,000 privileged members. The speakers of PLI programs are widely recognized and honored as leading experts in relevant professional fields.
The current program focused on the latest legal and business trends in China, and provided the best practices and effective strategies for issues in dealmaking, dispute resolution, and compliance. There were 187 live attendees. Attorney Gu spoke on how to protect IP in China from professional insights, and had in-depth discussions based on actual cases with participating attorneys and other professionals. The program was a great success and Attorney Gu won unanimous recognizaiton for her professional quality.
