On February 19-21, 2025, the 8th IBA Asia Pacific Regional Forum Biennial Conference was held in Hong Kong. The three-day event brought together legal professionals from Asia Pacific and beyond. Zhong Lun, a member of IBA, sponsored and participated extensively in the forum, including its preparations. More than ten of the firm’s partners attended various thematic activities during the forum.
Under the theme “Vibrant Asia – Land of Opportunity and Promise”, the biennial conference shed light on critical issues in burgeoning areas carrying significant weight to Asia Pacific such as regional economy, cross-border M&A transactions, intellectual property rights, data security, and capital markets, creating a valuable platform for legal professionals to exchange insights. During the conference, Zhong Lun lawyers, as representatives of the industry, joined panels of experts to share their thoughts on cross-border investment and M&A, Chinese enterprises’ investment in Asia, and trade remedies and sanctions, among others.
