Zhong Lun Retained by China National Offshore Oil Yue Dong LNG Co,. Ltd. as Legal Counsel to Advise on LNG Project
China National Offshore Oil Yue Dong LNG Co., Ltd. (The “Yue Dong LNG") is a corporation established for the purpose of the LNG Project in the east of Guangdong Province. This Project mainly focuses on the construction of LNG ports, station and gas transmission network and consists of two phrases, the first of which will be completed in 2013. To facilitate the Project, China National Offshore Oil Co., Ltd. (The “CNOOC") planned to hire a law firm as the legal counsel to deal with the issues regarding open tender of EPC container, equipment and material and other issues arising from routine business operation.
The team of Ms. Hu Yi and Mr. Feng Dong of Zhong Lun Law Firm Shenzhen Office has been retained by CNOOC as legal counsel after the nationwide tender for the LNG Project. Mr. Gui Gang also participated in the bidding and will be responsible for the foreign related business of the Project.
Moreover, it’s another corporation of CNOOC that our team provides retainer service for after we have been providing legal counsel services for the China National Offshore Oil Nanhai Eastern Co,, Ltd.
