Zhong Lun Advises on Noah’s IPO on NYSE
On November 11, 2010, Noah Holdings Limited, a leading independent wealth manager in China, announced its initial public offering and listing of American Depositary Shares on the New York Stock Exchange, which has raised more than US$115 million. J.P. Morgan and BofA Merrill Lynch were the joint book runners of the offering.
Zhong Lun acted as the issuer’ PRC legal counsel. The legal team from Zhong Lun for the offering was led by Anthony Zhao and Catherine Chen, and also consisted of William Jia and Ursula Li. Zhong Lun represented Sequoia Capital for its venture capital investment in Noah in October 2007 and has subsequently maintained a close business relationship with Noah.
