Zhong Lun Advises China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited on Beijing Mentougou Project
On June 19, 2010, China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited (“China Construction") and Beijing Mentougou district government entered into a strategic cooperation agreement in connection with China Construction’s RMB50 billion investment over the years in the development of the newly planned areas of Mentougou district, west Beijing.
Under the agreement, China Construction will be responsible for the overall planning and design, the comprehensive development and construction of the areas in the district. The scope of the bilateral cooperation will involve urban planning, ecological environment, public buildings and road transportation infrastructure investment and construction in shantytowns, resettlement housing construction, land and real estate development.
Zhong Lun Law Firm was engaged to act as legal counsel of China Construction and provided comprehensive legal services. Participating lawyers included Zhu Maoyuan, Sun Hui, Mu Song and Li Jiaxin.
