Zhong Lun Advises China Datang Corporation Renewable Power Co., Limited on Issue of 2 Billion Short-term Debentures
China Datang Corporation Renewable Power Co., Limited (the "Company") has completed the issue of the Company’s short-term debentures in the PRC interbank debenture market for the year 2011 on September 6, 2011. The total issuing amount of the short-term debentures is RMB 2 billion with a maturity period of 365 days.
Zhong Lun Law Firm advised the company on the issuance. Professionals included Guo Kejun, Jia Chen and Wang Hongyu. China Development Bank acted as the bookrunner and arranged the underwriting syndicate for the tranche of the short-term debentures.
The proceeds from the issue of the short-term debentures will be used to supplement the Company’s working capital and to repay bank loans so as to expand financing channels of the Company and optimize its financial structure as well as reduce its finance cost.
