On September 19, 2011, Shangri-La Asia Limited signed an agreement with Huayuan Real Estate Beijing, one of China’s major real estate companies, to open a new hotel in Changsha, capital of Hunan Province in south-central Chin.
Zhong Lun Law Firm acted as legal counsel for Huayuan Real Estate Beijing and provided full legal services in areas of foreign investment, hotel construction, real estate sales and hotel operations. Professionals included Hao Han and Shi Yi, both having extensive experience in the real estate construction and foreign investment and financing.
The 460-room luxury hotel, operated by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, is scheduled to open in 2015.
