Zhong Lun Advises on PE Financing and HK IPO of Ozner Water

On June 17, 2014, Ozner Water International Holding Limited (2014.HK), a leading water purification service provider in China, was successfully listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. Upon exercise of the over-allotment option, the total gross proceeds from this offering exceeded HK$1.31 billion. Contrary to the previous market sentiment, this offering was significantly oversubscribed and the IPO price was set at the top of the offering range.

Goldman Sachs and Standard Chartered acted as the joint sponsors and joint lead managers, and Zhong Lun Law Firm acted as the underwriters’ PRC legal counsel. The legal team from Zhong Lun for the IPO was led by Anthony Zhao, and included William Jia, Vincent Shen, Raphael Liu and Crystal Li.

Ares Investments completed its Series B investment in Ozner Water on October 20, 2011 with the total investment amount of more than US$30 million. Zhong Lun also acted as the PRC legal counsel to Ares, and its legal team for the investment was led by Anthony Zhao and included William Jia and Vincent Shen, etc.
