On February 18th, 2014, Canadian Solar Inc. (NASDAQ:CSIQ) (the “Company"), one of the world’s largest solar power companies, announced the closing of its offering of 3,194,700 common shares of the Company with no par value and the concurrent offering of US$150 million in aggregate principal amount of convertible senior notes. The Company received aggregate net proceeds of approximately US$255.7 million from these offerings.
Zhong Lun Law Firm acted as the PRC legal counsel for the Company in the offerings. Zhong Lun’s team included partner William Sun, partner Shirley Wang, associate Jiali Li, Julie Peng and Senying Yuan. Zhong Lun had also acted as the PRC legal counsel for the Company in the offering of common shares in 2013.
