IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, has recently provided a cross-border RMB loan (up to US$40 million equivalent) to Anyou Biotechnology Group Co., Ltd (“Anyou"). The loan will be used for the construction of eight animal feed processing factories of Anyou.
As the PRC counsel for IFC, Zhong Lun Law Firm worked together with the Beijing office of an international law firm headquartered in New York for the transaction. Zhong Lun was responsible for conducting due diligence, reviewing loan agreement and drafting guarantee documentation for this transaction. The legal team from Zhong Lun Law Firm was led by Michael Zhang and the key team members included Tu Hao and Zhang Wei.
