Recently, OCBC Singapore and OCBC Wing Hang Bank (China) Limited granted offshore and onshore facilities of an aggregate amount of approximately USD250 million to the offshore real estate fund and onshore project company of ARA Asset Management (“ARA") for the Platinum re-financing project.
ARA is a premier integrated real estate fund manager in Asia and has built a diverse suite of real estate investment trusts and private real estate funds that are invested in the office, retail, logistics/industrial, hospitality and residential sectors in the Asia Pacific region. Platinum, seated at Shanghai Xintiandi, is a class A office building, in which numerous prestigious enterprises have chosen to settle.
Zhong Lun Law Firm acted as the PRC counsel for the onshore and offshore lenders and provided comprehensive legal services for this onshore-offshore linked loan project. The legal team was led by Shirley Lu, the partner of Zhong Lun, and the team members include Sophia Chen and Mo Chen.
